Mandurah Safety & Training Services (MSTS) provides test and tag electrical training that is designed to make you skilled in all aspects of testing and tagging electrical equipment and cord assemblies.

Our courses
Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord connect equipment (UEERL0003)
Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace (UEECD0007)
Location:
Public training is delivered at MSTS training facilities in Mandurah and Port Hedland.
Training can also be scheduled on client’s sites, subject to equipment requirements
Delivery and assessments:
- Face-to-face Delivery (PowerPoint presentation)
- Theory Assessment (closed book) and Practical Assessment
- Self-paced pre-course reading and theory assessment

After successfully completing this course, applicants will have completed off-the-job training during which the following key theoretical and practical competencies were covered in relation to the in-service testing of electrical cord connected equipment and cord assemblies:

Participants must firstly read the pre-course reading material and then complete and return the attached pre-course assessment prior to commencement of the course. The pre-course questionnaire must either be handed in to either location Mandurah Branch or Port Hedland Branch (depending on Branch you are booked into) or emailed through prior to commencement of the course.
All learners must be able to read and comprehend English to a level that will enable them to safely perform duties as specified in the competency standard. MSTS recognises that some learners may require more support to meet the requirements of the training course. We will endeavour to meet these needs with regards to; language, literacy and numeracy skills. Learners are encouraged, prior to commencing the course and where applicable, to complete an MSTS LLN analysis, which will assist the Trainer/Assessor to interpret individual skill level and manage this from the onset.
