CONDUCT ROLLER OPERATIONS – RIIMPO317F
This course is typically conducted on-site at a Customer location, however MSTS can arrange for all aspects of training, including Equipment and a suitable location.
There is a strong focus on practical assessment of equipment operations.
Course Topics
- Legislation, responsibility and maintenance
- Front End Loader attachments (if applicable)
- Safe operating procedures
- Machine inspection and pre start checks
- Workplace assessment
- Loading, transit and dumping of loads
- Maintaining floor levels
- Loading vehicles (where applicable)
- Basic Machine Maintenance including refueling
- Safe parking and Shut down – including post operational machine checks, securing of machine and work area
DELIVERY and ASSESSMENTS:
- Face-to-Face Delivery (PowerPoint Presentation)
- Theory Assessment (closed book) and Practical Assessment
All learners must be able to read and comprehend English to a level that will enable them to safely perform duties as specified in the competency standard. MSTS recognises that some learners may require more support to meet the requirements of the training course. We will endeavour to meet these needs with regards to; language, literacy and numeracy skills. Learners are encouraged, prior to commencing the course and where applicable, to complete an MSTS LLN analysis, which will assist the Trainer/Assessor to interpret individual skill level and manage this from the onset.
